Witnesses reported a truck recently unloaded what appeared to be polluted water into a lake in Doral.

Residents said the blue truck was equipped with a tank in the community of Valencia, which has an entrance at Northwest 102nd Avenue and 46th Street.

“It was dumping whatever they took out of there and dumping it into the lake,” Manny Marrero, a resident of the community, said pointing to a storm drain, and later adding, “It is not right!”

Another witness recorded a video showing the parked truck just as dark water flowed out of its tank and into the community’s Lake Mario.

On Monday, the city reported code enforcement issued the culprit fines and referred the case to Miami-Dade County’s Department of Regulatory and Economic Resources.
