In the wake on the siege of the U.S. Capitol, a supporter of Donald Trump who lives in South Florida is claiming President-elect Joe Biden won’t be sworn in on Inauguration Day.

South Florida pro-Trump activist Willy Guardiola predicting something will happen over the next several days to prevent Biden from taking office.

“Something is going to happen before the 20th and I don’t see Sleepy Joe putting his hand on the Bible on the 20th,” Guardiola said. “This is for real. What’s going to be taking place in the next few days, we really have to be vigilant because I truly believe it’s going to happen. There’s going to be violence at the 50 capitols.”

Last week Guardiola made the trip along with other Trump supporters from Palm Beach County to Washington D.C. to attend the president’s Stop the Steal rally which ended in deadly riots at the U.S. Capitol.

He told Local 10′s Amy Viteri he was not with the crowds at the Capitol building and said he condemns all violence, including the actions on display last week.

His claims about the days ahead come as the FBI warns of a huge uprising leading up to Inauguration Day and armed protests at all 50 state capitols.

Miami Police Chief Jorge Colina told Local 10 his department isn’t taking chances. Colina said they have no credible threats locally, for now, but will increase staffing and work with partner agencies to be ready to respond.

“We take it very seriously,” Colina said. “We know that we’ve had incidents here in the past where people have come out to protest.”

The department also turning to its facial recognition app Clearview to help federal authorities track down those captured on camera during last week’s attack, already sending potential matches on to the FBI.

“Wherever we have the ability to match a face to who we think could be a person, we do that,” Colina said. “And then we supply that information to the FBI.”
