A man was found dead inside a house after firefighters with the Los Angeles Fire Department put out a fire in Woodland Hills on Monday afternoon.

The fire happened at around 2:30 p.m. on the 23000 block of Victory Boulevard. Los Angeles fire officials said 26 firefighters put out the blaze within 15 minutes.

Fire crews later searched the house and found a man dead inside. Officials said the man’s death was not to the smoke or fire.

No firefighters were injured and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
