“I just felt this was our time, and here we are,” Anderson said in a post-game interview with Scott Oake.

Anderson was invited by the Blues to join the team in Boston for Game 7 against the Bruins sharing the news in a viral video on twitter. She was diagnosed with a rare disease that affects her immune system last fall and had a bone marrow transplant in January.

With all the Blue players celebrating their Stanley Cup victory on the ice, Anderson joined the team receiving a hug from her favourite player Colton Parayko before getting some help lifting the Cup.
