“NCIS” (8 p.m., CBS): If you watched the Super Bowl you might have noticed an ad for “NCIS” that seemed to suggest that fan favorite Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) is returning to the show. The CBS cast listing for tonight’s episode, “She,” does not include de Pablo’s name, but the episode description does refer to Ziva: After a malnourished and confused 9-year-old is found hiding in a storage unit, NCIS reopens an old missing persons case when the girl is believed to be the daughter of a Navy recruit who disappeared 10 years ago. Also, Bishop discovers notes that Special Agent Ziva David kept on the case long after NCIS officially stopped investigating. Sunnie Pelant Guest Stars as 9-Year-Old Lily Burke.
“The Gifted” (9 p.m., Fox): When one of the Inner Circle goes missing, Reeva intensifies security in the compound, but realizes that her plans may already have been exposed. Furious and paranoid, Reeva resorts to violence. Meanwhile, Caitlin and Reed consider using the serum to restrict Lauren’s use of her powers, hoping it will help her as she wrestles with nightmares about the Inner Circle and her ancestors. And it’s a war of two extreme ideologies when the Morlocks and the Purifiers come face-to-face in battle.
“Boomerang” (10 p.m., BET): This new comedy series, produced by Lena Waithe and Halle Berry, picks up roughly 25 years after the film of the same name. Marketing professionals Bryson Broyer (Tequan Richmond) and Simone Graham (Tetona Jackson) look for ways to attain success while trying to renovate the legacy of their parents’ agency.
