The Meghan Markle bridezilla report: Tiara demand annoys Queen Elizabeth
Is it possible that Meghan Markle’s gigglefest with Queen Elizabeth II during their first royal outing together in June was all for show? Is it conceivable that Prince Harry’s American bride really didn’t charm his grandmother with her friendly, down-to-earth personality or their shared love of dogs?

Two different sources coming out this week paint Meghan, 37, as a bridezilla in the lead-up to her May 19 wedding, with one source saying she demanded to wear a particular tiara from the queen’s collection. In fact, the source said, Meghan’s demands became so irksome that the monarch had to have words with Harry and tell him, “Meghan cannot have whatever she wants. She gets what tiara she’s given by me.”
The bridezilla portrait begins with a new book by reporter Robert Johnson, which reveals that Harry, 34, became “petulant and short-tempered” before the May 19 royal wedding at Windsor Castle, the Daily Mail reported.
According to the book, “Charles At Seventy: Thoughts, Hopes And Dreams,” Harry allegedly told Kensington Palace staff in a raised voiced, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.”
One of the things Meghan reportedly had her heart set on was to wear a particular tiara that contained emeralds, according to another report by The Sun tabloid, citing “a royal insider.” She had picked out the jeweled headpiece during a visit to Buckingham Palace.
But Meghan, who is now expecting her first child with Harry, was told that wearing that this tiara wasn’t possible because its provenance could not be established, the insider told The Sun.
“There were concerns it could have come from Russia originally,” the source told The Sun.
