Drive-by shooting interrupts Tekashi 6ix9ine and Kanye West filming music video

Multiple shots from an apparent drive-by attack rang out near a Beverly Hills estate Thursday night, where Tekashi 6ix9ine and Kanye West were filming a music video, TMZ and The Blast are reporting.

Beverly Hills police received a 911 call about shots being fired outside the $80 million property, which Tekashi was using as a backdrop for a song for his new album. Both Tekashi and Kanye West were on the property when the shooting happened.

No one was hit, but filming was halted, and West quickly left the scene, according to The Blast.

The controversial and perhaps troubled rapper is featured on Tekashi’s new song, as is Nicki Minaj. But Minaj, Tekashi’s partner on their hit single “Fefe,” had not arrived before the shooting occurred.

Meanwhile, as West was working with Tekashi and then perhaps ducking bullets, his wife Kim Kardashian arrived to their mansion outside Los Angeles Thursday night with orders to evacuate, due to the out-of-control Woolsey Fire, which was threatening their Hidden Hills neighborhood and other nearby communities.

Police described the shooting near Tekashi’s music video set as a drive-by attack. Both TMZ and The Blast added that the shooting had taken place on Alpine Drive — what’s considered to be one of the most exclusive and presumably sedate streets in Beverly Hills. Over the years, Alpine Drive has been home to such legendary stars as Gene Hackman and the late Don Rickles, Donna Reed and Walter Matthau.

Someone on the set told TMZ that there were at least eight shots fired and that at least one bullet went through a bedroom window.
