‘Sister Sister’ star Tamera Mowry-Housley searches for niece after Thousand Oaks shooting

Television actress Tamera Mowry-Housley and her husband, former Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, are desperately searching for their niece, who was at Borderline Bar and Grill in Thousand Oaks when a gunman opened fire and killed 12 people and injured dozens more on Wednesday night.

Alaina Housley apparently was one of a handful of girls who went line dancing at the bar.

People reported that Mowry-Housley replied to a tweet early Thursday in which a girl said her suitemate was missing.

“This is her aunt Tamera Mowry Housley. Can you please DM me your information?”

The girl replied that she had been in contact with Mowry-Housley’s husband, to which she responded, “Ok. Thank you. Is she the only one unaccounted for?”

“Yes, all the other girls are safe,” the suitemate replied.

Mowry-Housley, who hosts the syndicated talk show, “The Real,” and gained fame for starring with her twin sibling, Tia Mowry, in the sitcom “Sister Sister,” took to social media to seek information regarding their niece.

The gunman, identified by authorities as former Marine Ian David Long, is believed to have killed himself.

The Los Angeles Times reported that Housley arrived at Los Robles Regional Medical Center to look for his niece, but a guard didn’t allow him in as the facility was on lockdown.

Housley said his niece’s Apple Watch and iPhone showed her location as the dance floor of the bar.

“My gut is saying she’s inside the bar, dead,” he said. “I’m hoping I’m wrong.”

Housley asked his nearly 100,000 Twitter followers for prayers.

“Please pray if you believe….pray,” later telling them the prayers were for his niece, who he described as “A beautiful soul.”
