Raiders training camp: What you need to know

It’s almost that time of year again.

The Raiders kick off training camp in Napa just about two weeks from now, when Jon Gruden takes the helm to officially mark the offseason’s conclusion.

Here’s the cliff notes version of what you need to know for this year’s training camp, with more extensive previews coming next week.

When do rookies report? – Monday, July 23

When do veterans report? – Thursday, July 26

When is the first practice? – Friday, July 27 at 9:15 a.m. PST

When can media first report from practice? – July 27, and Gruden and Derek Carr will speak to the group of reporters

Where do Raiders practice? – Their Napa Valley training complex, 3425 Solano Ave., Napa, Calif.
