TV tonight: ‘NCIS’ hits a big milestone — 350 episodes

“Roseanne” (8 p.m., ABC): Another familiar face pops up on “Roseanne” as Johnny Galecki returns to play David, Darlene’s boyfriend (and later husband). After being absent for years, David unexpectedly shows up for Harris’ birthday, forcing Darlene to re-examine their relationship. (8 p.m., ABC).
“NCIS” (8 p.m., CBS): Television’s No. 1 drama hits a big milestone with its 350th episode. And it’s still going strong — CBS just renewed the series for another season last week. In tonight’s hour, the team searches for a petty officer suspected of assault who escapes when the sheriff transporting him crashes into a lake. Also, Torres works closely with Annie Barth (Marilee Talkington), a key blind witness who heard vital evidence needed to solve the case.
“Black Lightning” (9 p.m., The CW): The aftermath of the showdown with Black Lightning leaves everyone reeling. Meanwhile, Tobias gathers his forces.
“Holmes: Next Generation” (9 p.m., DIY Network): It’s a family affair for contractor Mike ,Holmes in his new unscripted series. It follows Mike as he teams up with his daughter, Sherry, and son Mike Jr., who also are home renovation experts, to rescue homeowners from do-it-yourself projects gone wrong.
“New Girl” (9:30 p.m., Fox): Over a drunken power lunch, Jess and Cece decide to stand up to Russell and demand Jess be given more responsibility in her new job. Meanwhile, Nick struggles coming up with ideas for a new book and Schmidt is desperate to get Ruth to sleep.
“Forged in Fire: Knife or Death” (10 p.m. Discovery): A reality TV knife fight? Well, not quite, but this new series offers up a competition in which top bladesmiths, martial artists and knife experts slice, stab and chop their way through daunting obstacle courses. Don’t ask us to explain.
