Canadiens home underdogs facing the Bruins on Saturday night

The Montreal Canadiens will be looking to win three games in a row for the first time since early December when they host the Boston Bruins on Saturday as +115 underdogs on the NHL odds at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com.

Montreal enjoyed a five-day break following a 5-2 win over Vancouver as -180 home chalk on Sunday, and has tallied wins in three of four home games going into Saturday night’s Bruins versus Canadiens betting matchup at the Bell Centre. The Canadiens have also struggled against Boston, getting outscored by a 6-1 overall margin in two straight defeats including a 4-0 loss as +122 road underdogs in their most recent meeting last February.

Boston’s recent success is finally getting reflected on the Stanley Cup odds, where they have rocketed to a respectable +1800 after lagging at +4000 at Christmas.

Elsewhere, the Winnipeg Jets aim to pad their lead atop the Central Division standings, when they continue a four-game road trip with a Saturday-night date against the Minnesota Wild.
