Green listed as questionable, Pachulia & McCaw listed as doubtful vs. Pistons

DETROIT — There is no way Draymond Green misses a game near his hometown, right?

The Warriors said they are not sure. The Warriors (8-15) listed Green as questionable for Friday’s game against the Detroit Pistons (14-10) because of a sore right shoulder that also kept him sidelined on Wednesday in Charlotte.

Green completed Thursday’s light practice at Detroit Mercer, but the Warriors will wait until tomorrow to determine his availability. Afterwards, Green had ice wrapped around his shoulder.

“It’s all right,” Green said. “Still a bit sore, but it’ll be all right.”

Meanwhile, the Warriors listed center Zaza Pachulia (sore left shoulder) and second-year guard Patrick McCaw (concussion) as doubtful. McCaw completed some bike exercises on Thursday, but did not practice since the Warriors are monitoring whether McCaw stays symptom free as required by the NBA’s concussion protocol. After missing Monday’s game in New Orleans, Pachulia aggravated his left shoulder on Wednesday after grappling with Charlotte center Dwight Howard. Pachulia planned to receive an MRI on Thursday.

“I can’t imagine playing him against Andre Drummond, especially,” Warriors coach Steve Kerr said. “As always the theme, we’re going to be careful with everybody.”
